For Donors
Other Ways to Give
Planned giving allows you to contribute to the causes and charities you care about through a planned and intentional strategy, so your wishes can be realized in the future. Planned giving often offers tax advantages to the donor or their estate.
Planned giving options include
- An initial donation and annual pledge schedule
- A bequest in a will
- A gift of life insurance
- A major gift-in-kind
Creating a bequest in a will
Creating an endowment fund through your estate allows you to leave funds to causes you care about. A designated gift will provide your chosen charity or cause with a long-term, steady source of income. With an unrestricted gift, you provide the Foundation with the flexibility to make granting decisions that address the changing needs in our communities, now and in the future.
Leaving a small percentage in your will to charity could result in a major donation, the kind of contribution that makes a tremendous difference to the Foundation and the charities we serve.
